1-4 God! Look! Enemies past counting! Enemies sprouting like mushrooms,Mobs of them all around me, roaring their mockery:“Hah! No help for him from God!” But you, God, shield me on all sides;You ground my feet, you lift my head high;With all my might I shout up to God,His answers thunder from the holy mountain.
5-7 I stretch myself out. I sleep.Then I’m up again—rested, tall and steady,Fearless before the enemy mobs. Coming at me from all sides. Up, God! My God, help me! Slap their faces,First this cheek, then the other,Your fist hard in their teeth!

1-4 神啊，你看！敵人已經數不清了！他們像蕈類滋生，成群結黨在我四周，大聲嘲笑：「哈！他沒有神幫忙！」但是神啊，袮卻在四面八方守護我，讓我腳踏實地，讓我挺胸昂首；我用盡所有力氣向神呼喊，祂的回答從聖山隆隆發出。
5-7我攤開身子。我睡覺。然後再次起來——歇息夠了，挺身堅立。敵人蜂擁，四面八方而來，我卻毫無懼意。起來吧，我的神啊！幫助我！打他們耳刮子，先打這邊臉頰，再打另一邊。袮的拳頭重擊他們的牙齒！
