18 God said, “It’s not good for the Man to be alone; I’ll make him a helper, a companion.”
我骨中的骨，肉中的肉
18 神說：「這人落單不好，我要給他造一個幫手、伴侶。」
19-20 So God formed from the dirt of the ground all the animals of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the Man to see what he would name them. Whatever the Man called each living creature, that was its name. The Man named the cattle, named the birds of the air, named the wild animals; but he didn’t find a suitable companion.
19-20 神就用地上的土做了所有的田野動物與空中的鳥，帶到那人跟前，看他要起什麼名字。那人怎麼叫，就成了這些動物的名字。他給牲畜、空中的鳥、野獸起名字，只不過找不到合適的伴侶。
21-22 God put the Man into a deep sleep. As he slept he removed one of his ribs and replaced it with flesh. God then used the rib that he had taken from the Man to make Woman and presented her to the Man.
21-22 神使那人沉睡，然後在這當兒移除了他的一根肋骨，以肉代替，然後用那人身上取下的肋骨造了女人，帶到他跟前。
23-25 The Man said,“Finally! Bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh! Name her Woman for she was made from Man.” Therefore a man leaves his father and mother and embraces his wife. They become one flesh. The two of them, the Man and his Wife, were naked, but they felt no shame.
23-25 男人說：終於出現了！我骨中的骨，肉中的肉！我要給他起名叫女人，因為她是從男人造的。所以說，男人要離開父母，擁妻子入懷。他們成為一體。他們兩個，男人與妻子，都是裸體，卻不覺得害羞。
