19-23 Cultivate your own relationship with God, but don’t impose it on others. You’re fortunate if your behavior and your belief are coherent. But if you’re not sure, if you notice that you are acting in ways inconsistent with what you believe—some days trying to impose your opinions on others, other days just trying to please them—then you know that you’re out of line. If the way you live isn’t consistent with what you believe, then it’s wrong.

19-23 你應當用心培養自己與神的關係，但卻不要把你的信心套用在別人身上。若是你的行為與信仰是一致的，就再好不過。然而，若是你不是那麼確定，又或你留意到自己的行為與信仰不一致——時而強迫別人接受你的意見，時而一味地討好他們——你就顯得裡外不一了。假使你的生活與信仰並不一致，就肯定出了問題。
