You’re Blessed
1-2 When Jesus saw his ministry drawing huge crowds, he climbed a hillside. Those who were apprenticed to him, the committed, climbed with him. Arriving at a quiet place, he sat down and taught his climbing companions. This is what he said :
你是有福的
1-2 當耶穌見到祂所講的道吸引了大批群眾，他就爬上一座小山。那些委身跟隨祂的門徒，也隨著他上了山。到達一處寧靜的地方後，祂就坐下來教導祂的跟隨者。以下是祂的話：
3 “You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.
3 當你智窮力盡，你就有福了。因為當你愈沒有把握時，神就掌管得愈多。
4 “You’re blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.
4 當你痛失最心愛的人或物，你就有福了。唯有如此，你才能讓最疼愛你的那位緊緊懷抱你。
5 “You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought.
5 當你滿足於你的本相——不卑不亢，你就有福了。惟有此刻，你發現自己自豪地擁有金錢所換不到的一切。
6 “You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.
6 當你渴望從神得到飽足，你就有福了。祂的食物和飲料是你所嘗過最豐盛的佳餚。
7 “You’re blessed when you care. At the moment of being ‘care-full,’ you find yourselves cared for.
7 當你關懷別人時，你就有福了。在你全心照顧別人的時候，你將發現自己的需要也得到滿足。
8 “You’re blessed when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.
8 當你要求你的內在世界——意志和心靈——持守正道，你就有福了。這樣，你就可以在外在世界見到神。
9 “You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family.
9 當你向眾人顯明可以怎樣合作，而非爭權奪利時，你就有福了。那時，你會發掘你自己真正的身分，和你在神家中的地位。
10 “You’re blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God’s kingdom.
10 當你對神委身卻招來迫害時，你就有福了。迫害會驅使你更深體驗神的國度。
11-12 “Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer, even!—for though they don’t like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble.
11-12 「不僅如此，每次有人貶低你、趕你出去，或誣蔑你，想藉此詆毀我，你要視自己為有福的。因為這表示真理太接近他們，使他們感到渾身不自在。遇到這種情形，你應該高興——甚至歡呼！——因為儘管那些人不喜悦，我卻喜悅！整個天堂都為你鼓掌。此外，你要知道你並不孤單，因我的先知和見證人經常遭遇這類逼迫。」
