Children Of Heaven

26-27 Take a good look, friends, at who you were when you got called into this life. I don’t see many of “the brightest and the best” among you, not many influential, not many from high-society families.

28 Isn’t it obvious that God deliberately chose men and women that the culture overlooks and exploits and abuses, chose these “nobodies” to expose the hollow pretensions of the “somebodies”?

26-27 仔細察看，朋友們，當你蒙召得生命時，你的光景究竟是什麼。我在你們中間沒有看見到「聰明絕頂和能力高超」的人，有影響力的人不多，有尊貴家世的人也不多。

28 顯然地，神豈不是刻意揀選世界所輕視、剝削和虐待的男女，這些「名不見經傳的小人物」，來暴露出「知名人士」的空洞和矯飾嗎？
